1. Parties and Scope

Back to contents ↑

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Customer”, or “you”) and:

Company
SPINCITY Table Tennis KFT
Registered seat
Fáy utca 4, 1139 Budapest, Hungary
Company registration number
01-09-444146
Tax number
32816907-2-41
E-mail
info@spincity.hu
Website
https://spincity.hu

(hereinafter referred to as “SPINCITY”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms govern your access to and use of the SPINCITY web application, mobile-accessible website, booking system, physical venues, and all related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, completing a booking — whether as a registered user or a guest — or by physically accessing any SPINCITY venue, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform or enter SPINCITY premises.

These Terms apply in addition to any separate event-specific, membership, or promotional rules that SPINCITY may publish. In the event of a conflict, the more specific document prevails.

2. Definitions

Back to contents ↑
  • “Booking” — a confirmed reservation of a Slot or an Event made through the Platform, whether by a registered user or via Guest mode.
  • “Slot” — an individual table tennis table at a SPINCITY venue, available for hourly reservation.
  • “Event” — a structured activity (tournament, open play session, workshop, etc.) published by SPINCITY with a defined start time, capacity, and price.
  • “Venue” — any physical SPINCITY location that contains one or more Slots.
  • “Access Code” — a numeric code generated upon payment confirmation that unlocks the smart lock controlling entry to a reserved Slot or Venue.
  • “Replay Clip” — a short video excerpt (up to 30 seconds, video only, without audio) produced from venue CCTV/NVR footage for a specific Booking time window.
  • “Replay Credit” — an account-wide, purchasable unit of value that entitles the Customer to request one Replay Clip. Replay Credits are deducted from the Customer’s individual Replay Credit balance, irrespective of which Booking the clip relates to.
  • “Marketing Consent” — a Customer’s single, account-wide yes/no permission for SPINCITY to use that Customer’s Replay Clips for promotional purposes, as described in Section 8.6. It applies uniformly to all of the Customer’s Replay Clips (there is no per-clip decision) and is distinct from, and not required for, use of the Replay feature itself.
  • “Loyalty Tier” — an automatically assigned membership tier (see Section 12.3) based on a Customer’s completed Booking history, which determines an automatic percentage discount applied at checkout.
  • “AYCM” — “All You Can Move”, a third-party sports-pass membership service integrated into the Platform allowing eligible members to book and pay via their AYCM account.
  • “GYG / GetYourGuide” — a third-party online marketplace through which customers may discover and book SPINCITY Slots or Events.
  • “Guest Booking” — a Booking completed without a registered account, using only contact details (name, phone number, e-mail).
  • “Coach” — a SPINCITY-employed or contracted table tennis instructor who may be added to a Slot Booking at an additional fee.
  • “Voucher” — a discount code that reduces the price of an eligible Booking when applied during checkout. A Voucher may be issued generally or, where assigned by SPINCITY to a specific Customer account, as an “Assigned Voucher” ( see Section 12.2).
  • “Revolut” — the third-party payment processor used by SPINCITY to handle online payments.

3. Account Registration

Back to contents ↑

3.1 Invitation-based Registration

Account creation on the Platform is invitation-only. SPINCITY issues a registration invitation to the e-mail address you provide. Upon receiving the invitation you must complete registration within the validity period of the link. Registrations submitted after link expiry will be rejected.

3.2 Required Information

During registration you must provide:

  • First name and last name
  • E-mail address (pre-filled from the invitation)
  • Phone number
  • Password (minimum 6 characters)

You must accept these Terms before your account is created. Acceptance is recorded at registration time.

3.3 Accuracy

You warrant that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date. You are responsible for updating your account details if they change. SPINCITY may suspend or terminate accounts that contain materially false or outdated information.

3.4 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify SPINCITY immediately at info@spincity.hu if you suspect unauthorised access. SPINCITY will never ask for your password by e-mail, phone, or chat.

3.5 Account Roles

The Platform operates with three account types:

  • Customer — can browse events, book Slots and Events, manage their own Bookings, request and manage their own Replay Clips against their Replay Credit balance, and view their Loyalty Tier status.
  • Coach — can view their own schedule and assigned Bookings.
  • Admin — full management access including venue configuration, event creation, personnel management, discount management, and Replay administration (including unlimited Replay Clip requests not drawn from a Replay Credit balance).

3.7 Account Termination and Outstanding Bookings

If SPINCITY suspends or terminates your account for any reason, the following applies to existing Bookings:

  • Confirmed future Bookings will be cancelled by SPINCITY and a full refund will be issued, unless the account was terminated due to a breach of these Terms that caused harm to SPINCITY or a third party.
  • Where termination results from a material breach of these Terms (e.g. fraudulent activity, serious misconduct), SPINCITY reserves the right to cancel future Bookings without refund after providing written notice and an opportunity to respond within 5 business days.
  • Completed Bookings and their associated invoices are not affected by account termination and remain accessible upon written request.
  • Any unused Replay Credit balance is forfeited upon account termination resulting from a breach of these Terms. Where an account is terminated for reasons other than a breach (e.g. SPINCITY ceasing operations, or voluntary deletion under Section 3.7 below), SPINCITY will use reasonable efforts to allow redemption or, where redemption is not possible, reimbursement of any unused, paid-for Replay Credit balance.

If you choose to delete your own account, all confirmed future Bookings must be cancelled by you in advance, subject to the refund policy in Section 6.

4. Booking and Reservations

Back to contents ↑

4.1 Slot Bookings

Slot Bookings may be made for one or more persons for a defined time window at a specific table. The booking wizard guides you through: selecting a venue, choosing a date and time, optionally selecting a Coach, specifying the number of participants, and completing payment.

A Booking is confirmed only upon successful payment (or, for AYCM members, upon authorisation of the payment hold). An e-mail confirmation including your Access Code is sent to the address on your account.

4.2 Event Bookings

Public Events have a fixed capacity. Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached, no further Bookings are accepted for that Event unless SPINCITY increases capacity or a cancellation creates a vacancy.

Some Events carry a Booking Deadline. Bookings submitted after the deadline will be rejected, even if capacity remains.

4.3 Booking Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation e-mail with your Booking ID, date, time, venue, price, and Access Code (where applicable) after payment is completed. You are responsible for ensuring the e-mail address on your account is correct and that confirmation e-mails are not filtered as spam.

4.4 No Show

Failure to arrive for a confirmed, paid Booking does not entitle you to a refund or credit unless the cancellation policy in Section 6 is satisfied.

4.5 Booking for Others

You may book on behalf of other people. By doing so you confirm that you have their authority to bind them to these Terms and, where applicable, to provide their personal data to SPINCITY. You remain personally responsible for ensuring all participants comply with these Terms and the Venue Rules.

4.6 Booking Modifications

Bookings cannot be transferred to a different date, time, or venue after confirmation. To change your booking you must cancel (subject to the refund policy in Section 6) and create a new Booking.

5. Pricing and Payment

Back to contents ↑

5.1 Prices

All prices displayed on the Platform are in Hungarian Forint (HUF) and include VAT at the applicable Hungarian statutory rate. SPINCITY reserves the right to change prices at any time; changes do not affect Bookings already confirmed.

Slot prices are calculated on an hourly basis. Additional charges apply for:

  • Groups exceeding the base occupancy threshold (group fee)
  • Coach/instructor bookings (hourly supplement)

Slot prices displayed to a Customer reflect any automatic Loyalty Tier discount (Section 12.3) for which that Customer qualifies at the time of viewing.

5.2 Payment Processing

Online payments are processed by Revolut Payments UAB (a licensed electronic money institution regulated by the Bank of Lithuania). SPINCITY does not store your full card number or other sensitive payment credentials. Revolut’s own privacy policy and terms govern the processing of your payment data.

Upon checkout you will be redirected to a secure Revolut-hosted payment page. SPINCITY receives a notification of success or failure; your Booking is confirmed only on a successful payment event. The same Revolut checkout and webhook mechanism is used to process Replay Credit purchases (Section 8.2).

5.3 AYCM Payment Hold

For Bookings made via an AYCM membership, Revolut authorises (holds) the full booking amount against your payment method at checkout. The hold is released or captured depending on your AYCM check-in outcome (see Section 10.1).

5.4 Free-of-Charge Bookings

SPINCITY may, at its sole discretion, waive the fee for a specific Booking (e.g. as a courtesy adjustment or for promotional purposes). Such waivers apply to the specific Booking only and create no precedent for future bookings.

5.5 Invoicing

Electronic invoices are issued automatically for each paid Booking and for each paid Replay Credit purchase in accordance with Act CXXVII of 2007 (Hungarian VAT Act) via the Számlázz.hu invoicing service. Your invoice number is associated with your Booking or Replay Credit purchase and visible in your account. By using the Platform you consent to receiving invoices exclusively in electronic form.

5.6 Chargebacks

Initiating a payment chargeback for a valid, confirmed Booking or Replay Credit purchase without first contacting SPINCITY may result in the suspension of your account pending investigation.

6. Cancellation, Refund Policy, and Right of Withdrawal

Back to contents ↑

6.1 Right of Withdrawal — Exemption for Leisure Activity Bookings

Important notice for EU consumers: Under Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights (implemented into Hungarian law by Government Decree 45/2014), consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. However, this right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure activity services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance (Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU; §29(1)(l) of Decree 45/2014). Because every SPINCITY Booking is made for a specific, defined time slot, the 14-day cooling-off right is excluded. The cancellation and refund terms set out in Sections 6.2–6.7 below govern all cancellations instead. Replay Credit purchases are addressed separately in Section 8.2.

6.2 Cancellation by Customer

You may request a refund by cancelling your Booking via your account or by contacting SPINCITY. The following conditions apply:

  • Cancellation 24 or more hours before the Booking start: full refund of the amount paid (excluding any convenience fees charged by Revolut, if applicable).
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the Booking start: no refund. The full Booking fee is forfeited.
  • Cancellation after the Booking start time: no refund.

Note: The 24-hour threshold is measured against the start time of the Booking, not the time of purchase. For example, if your Booking starts at 14:00, you must cancel by 14:00 the previous day to receive a full refund.

6.3 Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed via Revolut to the original payment method. Processing times are governed by Revolut and your card issuer; typically 5–10 business days. SPINCITY is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks.

6.4 SPINCITY-Initiated Cancellation

SPINCITY reserves the right to cancel any Booking due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g. force majeure, venue closure, technical failure). In such cases you will receive a full refund and, where practicable, notification at least 24 hours in advance.

6.5 AYCM Cancellations and Refunds

AYCM Bookings follow the same 24-hour window. However, refund mechanics differ: the payment hold will be released (not captured) if cancelled in time. Cancellations within 24 hours result in capture of the held amount. See Section 10.1 for full AYCM-specific terms.

6.6 Event Bookings

The standard 24-hour cancellation window applies to Event Bookings. Cancellations after an Event’s Booking Deadline will not be refunded regardless of the time remaining before the Event start.

6.7 Refund Disputes

If a refund is denied and you dispute the decision, please contact SPINCITY in writing at info@spincity.hu. SPINCITY will review disputed refunds and respond within 14 calendar days.

7. Venue Access and Smart Locks

Back to contents ↑

7.1 Access Code

Where a Slot or Venue is equipped with a Nuki smart lock, a unique numeric Access Code is generated automatically when your Booking reaches PAYMENT_COMPLETED status (or for AYCM Bookings, upon successful check-in or payment capture). This code is visible in your confirmed Booking details within the Platform and included in your confirmation e-mail.

7.2 Permitted Access Window

Your Access Code is valid for entry starting 30 minutes before your Booking start time and remains active until 30 minutes after your Booking end time. The exact buffer may be adjusted per venue and is shown at checkout. Access outside this window is not permitted.

7.3 Code Confidentiality

Your Access Code is personal to your Booking. You must not share your code with any individual who is not part of your Booking party. Sharing codes that allow unauthorised entry to SPINCITY premises is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal action.

7.4 Code Revocation

SPINCITY revokes Access Codes when a Booking is cancelled or refunded. A revoked code will no longer open the lock. You must vacate the premises promptly upon cancellation.

7.5 Technical Failures

Nuki smart lock functionality depends on network connectivity and device hardware. In the event of a smart lock failure SPINCITY will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative access. SPINCITY is not liable for brief access interruptions caused by connectivity outages beyond its control, provided reasonable mitigation steps are taken.

7.6 Damage to Locking Mechanisms

Any damage caused to smart locks, keypad hardware, or door frames through misuse or forced entry will be charged to the responsible party at the full cost of repair or replacement.

7.7 Damage to Equipment

You are responsible for any damage caused to SPINCITY equipment during your Booking, including but not limited to table tennis tables, nets, bats, balls, scoring hardware, and lighting. SPINCITY will assess damage after each session. The cost of repair or replacement of damaged equipment will be invoiced to the account holder or, for Guest Bookings, to the contact details provided. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

8. CCTV, Video Recording and Replay Feature

Back to contents ↑

8.1 Continuous CCTV Recording — Notice

All SPINCITY venues are subject to continuous 24/7 video surveillance for the purposes of security, safety enforcement, loss prevention, and Replay Clip functionality. Footage is sourced from networked video recorder (NVR) hardware installed at each venue. By entering any SPINCITY venue you acknowledge that CCTV recording is in operation. Signage notifying visitors of CCTV is displayed at all venue entrances.

CCTV footage constitutes personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and is processed on the basis of SPINCITY’s legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in maintaining the security of its premises and staff. This processing does not require your consent; however, you have the right to object (see Section 15.6).

Each venue’s recording hardware operates on its own configured clock/timezone. SPINCITY takes reasonable steps to keep recording clocks synchronised and to correlate them accurately with Booking time windows, but does not guarantee perfect frame-level synchronisation across all venues at all times.

8.2 Replay Feature, Replay Credits, and Self-Service Clip Requests

SPINCITY operates a Replay feature that allows a Customer to request a short video clip (a Replay Clip) extracted from CCTV/NVR footage of an active or recently completed Booking at a camera-equipped Slot. The feature is subject to the following conditions:

  • Self-service access. Customer-role users may request Replay Clips themselves directly through their account, without requiring Admin intervention. Admin-role users retain full Replay administration access.
  • Replay Credits. Each Replay Clip request consumes one (1) Replay Credit from the Customer’s account-wide Replay Credit balance. Replay Credits are not tied to a specific Booking — they may be spent against any eligible Booking on the same account.
  • Initial allotment. New Customer accounts are granted a starting allotment of Replay Credits free of charge upon registration. The size of this allotment is set by SPINCITY and may be changed at any time for future registrations; it does not affect Replay Credits already granted or purchased.
  • Purchasing additional credits. Additional Replay Credits may be purchased at any time in packages via Revolut ( Section 10.3). The number of credits and price per package are configured by SPINCITY and displayed to you before purchase. A Replay Credit purchase is confirmed only upon successful Revolut payment, in the same manner as a Booking (Section 5.2).
  • No expiry, no cash value. Purchased and free Replay Credits do not expire and carry no cash value. They are personal to the account, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money, except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.
  • Automatic refund on failure. If a Replay Clip request fails for a reason attributable to SPINCITY (e.g. a processing error), the Replay Credit consumed for that request is automatically returned to the Customer’s balance. No refund of a successfully consumed Replay Credit is available once a Replay Clip has been successfully produced and made available for download.
  • Clip specification. Each Replay Clip is up to 30 seconds in duration and contains video only — Replay Clips do not include audio.
  • Eligibility window. Clips may only be requested for a time window during which the requesting Customer had an active or recently completed Booking at the relevant camera-equipped Slot.
  • Download links. Clip download links are time-limited (valid for 60 minutes from generation).
  • Storage. Clips are stored on Google Cloud Storage in the European Union.
  • Retention — on request only. Unlike continuous raw CCTV recordings (Section 8.4), produced Replay Clips are not automatically deleted on a fixed schedule. A Replay Clip is retained until the Customer (or, for Admin-generated clips, SPINCITY) requests its deletion, or until the underlying storage is otherwise removed in accordance with SPINCITY’s data retention practices. You may request deletion of any Replay Clip associated with your account at any time via your account or by e-mailing info@spincity.hu; SPINCITY will action deletion requests promptly and in any event within 30 days.

8.4 Your Rights Regarding Footage

You have the right to request information about CCTV footage in which you appear, and under GDPR the right to object to processing or to request erasure where no overriding legal interest applies. Requests must be submitted in writing to info@spincity.hu with the subject line “Data Protection Request”. We will respond within 30 days.

Continuous raw recordings are retained for the minimum period necessary for security purposes (typically 30 days) unless required longer by law or for an ongoing incident. This retention period applies to raw NVR footage only and is separate from the on-request retention of produced Replay Clips described in Section 8.2.

8.5 Third Parties in Frame

If a Replay Clip captures individuals who were not party to the Booking (e.g. players at an adjacent table), you must not publish or distribute such clips without the consent of all identifiable persons appearing in the footage. SPINCITY accepts no liability for your misuse of footage involving third parties.

9. Live Scoring System

Back to contents ↑

SPINCITY venues feature a live scoring system displayed on physical TV screens installed at each Slot. During a Booking, Customers or Admins may enter player names and set scores in real time. The following applies:

  • Player names entered into the scoring system are stored as part of the Booking record. Do not enter full names or other personal data beyond a preferred display name or nickname. SPINCITY bears no responsibility for personal data you voluntarily enter as a player name.
  • Scoreboard data is transmitted in real time to the TV screen at the relevant Slot and may be visible to other persons in the venue.
  • Scoreboard data is retained with the Booking record for the duration of that Booking’s retention period. You may request deletion of game data associated with your Booking by contacting info@spincity.hu.
  • SPINCITY is not responsible for the display of any content (including player names) that you voluntarily enter into the scoring system.

10. Third-Party Integrations

Back to contents ↑

10.1 AYCM Membership Integration

Customers holding a valid All You Can Move (AYCM) sports-pass membership may book Slots through the integrated AYCM flow. The following specific terms apply:

  • At checkout, Revolut places a payment hold (authorisation) for the full Booking amount. You are not charged at this point.
  • You must check in at the venue using the AYCM app. SPINCITY’s system tracks check-in status via the AYCM API.
  • If all required participants check in within the AYCM check-in window: the payment hold is released in full — you pay nothing.
  • If the required number of check-ins is not completed within the allowed window: the payment hold is captured ( charged to your card) at the standard Booking rate. A receipt and confirmation e-mail are sent automatically.
  • The number of check-ins required to avoid a charge is determined by the AYCM integration configuration at the relevant Venue. This number is displayed at checkout.
  • Cancellations of AYCM Bookings more than 24 hours before the start time result in release of the payment hold. Cancellations within 24 hours result in full payment capture.
  • AYCM Bookings are made for the account holder’s Booking party only. Each participant must use their own valid AYCM membership. You may not book on behalf of a third party using your own AYCM membership to circumvent per-person check-in requirements.
  • Your AYCM membership data (membership ID, check-in status) is shared between SPINCITY and AYCM solely to process your Booking.
  • AYCM membership eligibility and check-in rules are governed by your separate agreement with AYCM. SPINCITY is not responsible for AYCM service interruptions or eligibility disputes.

10.2 GetYourGuide (GYG) Integration

SPINCITY may list Slots and Events on the GetYourGuide marketplace. Bookings made through GetYourGuide are subject to GetYourGuide’s own terms and cancellation policy in addition to these Terms. Where there is a conflict, GetYourGuide’s terms prevail for the aspects of the transaction governed by them (payment, cancellation communications to GYG).

Reservations from GetYourGuide are held in SPINCITY’s system for a limited period before being confirmed or released. If a reservation is not converted to a confirmed booking within this window, the availability is released. SPINCITY is not liable for booking failures caused by the expiry of GYG reservations outside SPINCITY’s control.

GYG availability notifications are sent by SPINCITY to GetYourGuide when capacity changes. SPINCITY does not guarantee real-time synchronisation under all circumstances.

10.3 Revolut

Payment processing is performed by Revolut Payments UAB. SPINCITY is not a party to the payment contract between you and Revolut. Revolut’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, available at www.revolut.com, apply to your payment transaction, including transactions for Replay Credit purchases.

10.4 Számlázz.hu (Invoicing)

Electronic invoices are generated via the Számlázz.hu service on SPINCITY’s behalf. Your invoice data (name, Booking or Replay Credit purchase details, amount) is transmitted to Számlázz.hu for this purpose.

10.5 Nuki Smart Locks

Smart lock operations (code generation and revocation) are performed via the Nuki API. Booking identifiers and access code metadata are shared with Nuki for this purpose. Nuki’s Privacy Policy, available at nuki.io, applies to data processed by their infrastructure.

11. Guest Bookings

Back to contents ↑

SPINCITY permits Bookings to be created in Guest mode without requiring account registration. Guest Bookings require:

  • Contact name
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address

Guest users are bound by these Terms to the same extent as registered users. By submitting a Guest Booking you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

Guest Bookings may be subject to restricted self-service cancellation capabilities compared to registered accounts. SPINCITY may require identity verification (e.g. confirmation of the contact e-mail address used at booking, or the last 4 digits of the payment card) before processing a refund for a Guest Booking.

Because the Replay feature (Section 8.2) and Loyalty Tier discounts (Section 12.3) require an account-wide Replay Credit balance and Booking history respectively, they are not available to Guest Bookings. Vouchers (Section 12.1) remain available to Guest Bookings where the Voucher is not an Assigned Voucher tied to a registered account.

Personal data submitted in Guest mode is processed as described in Section 15 and our Privacy Policy.

12. Discount Codes, Vouchers, and Loyalty Discounts

Back to contents ↑

12.1 Vouchers

SPINCITY may issue Voucher codes that reduce the price of eligible Bookings. The following conditions apply to all Vouchers unless otherwise stated:

  • Vouchers are valid only within the specified validity period (valid-from and valid-until dates).
  • Vouchers may carry a maximum number of total redemptions, a maximum number of redemptions per customer, and/or a maximum number of redemptions within a given calendar month. These limits apply cumulatively; once any applicable limit is reached, the code is no longer accepted until the relevant limit resets (where applicable) or SPINCITY increases it.
  • Vouchers cannot be applied retroactively to confirmed Bookings.
  • Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Only one Voucher code may be applied per Booking unless otherwise specified. A Voucher may, however, be combined with an automatic Loyalty Tier discount on the same Booking — see Section 12.3.
  • If a Booking using a Voucher is refunded, the monetary refund will reflect only the amount actually charged. The Voucher code may or may not be reactivated at SPINCITY’s discretion.
  • SPINCITY reserves the right to withdraw or invalidate Voucher codes in the event of suspected abuse or technical error.
  • Vouchers issued to a specific customer (by e-mail or account) are non-transferable.

12.2 Assigned Vouchers

SPINCITY may assign a specific Voucher to a named, registered Customer account (an “Assigned Voucher”) rather than publishing it as a general-use code. Assigned Vouchers are subject to the following additional conditions:

  • An Assigned Voucher may only be redeemed by the account to which it was assigned. The Platform will reject an attempt to redeem an Assigned Voucher from any other account.
  • Assigned Vouchers are non-transferable and have no cash value, in the same manner as general Vouchers (Section 12.1).
  • All other conditions in Section 12.1 (validity period, redemption limits, non-retroactivity) apply equally to Assigned Vouchers unless SPINCITY specifies otherwise at the time of assignment.

12.3 Loyalty Tier Discounts

SPINCITY operates an automatic Loyalty Tier program based on each Customer account’s history of completed Bookings. The following applies:

  • Loyalty Tiers are assigned automatically based on the number of completed Bookings on the account; no enrolment, code, or registration is required beyond having a registered SPINCITY account.
  • The current tier thresholds and associated discounts are: no tier (0% discount); a first tier after 3 completed Bookings (5% discount); a second tier after 10 completed Bookings (10% discount); and a third tier after 20 completed Bookings (20% discount). SPINCITY reserves the right to change these thresholds and discount percentages at any time; such changes apply only prospectively, to Bookings made after the change takes effect, and do not retroactively alter the price of Bookings already confirmed.
  • The applicable Loyalty Tier discount is calculated and reflected automatically in the price displayed to the Customer at checkout, based on the Customer’s tier at the time of booking.
  • A Loyalty Tier discount may be combined with one (1) Voucher code applied to the same Booking, as the two discount mechanisms operate independently. SPINCITY reserves the right to change this stacking policy at any time; a change that removes or restricts stacking will be treated as a material change under Section 19.1.
  • Loyalty Tier status and history are personal to the account, are not transferable between accounts, and are not available to Guest Bookings.

12.4 General

Discounts of any kind (Vouchers, Assigned Vouchers, and Loyalty Tier discounts) are provided at SPINCITY’s discretion as part of the Platform’s pricing and promotional practices and do not constitute a separate financial product or stored monetary value, except for Replay Credits, which are addressed separately in Section 8.2.

13. User Conduct and Venue Rules

Back to contents ↑

13.1 General Conduct

All persons using SPINCITY facilities are required to behave in a respectful, safe, and considerate manner towards staff, other customers, and property. You must comply with SPINCITY’s Code of Conduct, which is displayed at each venue and available on request.

13.2 Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on SPINCITY premises:

  • Accessing the venue or a Slot outside your permitted booking window without explicit staff authorisation.
  • Sharing Access Codes with persons not included in your Booking.
  • Using equipment in a manner that could cause damage or pose a safety risk.
  • Harassment, threatening behaviour, or discrimination towards any person.
  • Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances on premises.
  • Bringing animals onto premises (except assistance animals).
  • Tampering with CCTV cameras, smart locks, scoring systems, or any venue infrastructure.
  • Conducting paid lessons, tutoring, or commercial group coaching without written permission from SPINCITY management ( see Section 14).

13.3 Consequences of Violations

Violations of the Code of Conduct or these Terms may result in one or more of the following, at SPINCITY’s sole discretion:

  • Immediate removal from the premises.
  • Suspension or permanent termination of your account (see Section 3.7 for the effect on existing Bookings and Replay Credit balances).
  • Cancellation of existing Bookings without refund.
  • A financial penalty of up to 100,000 HUF for damage to property or serious misconduct.
  • Referral to law enforcement authorities.

13.4 Personal Safety

SPINCITY takes reasonable measures to maintain safe premises. However, SPINCITY is not liable for personal injuries resulting from the normal risks of table tennis or any other sports activity, or from the Customer’s failure to use equipment correctly or to follow safety instructions. Customers accept these inherent risks by participating in activities on the premises.

13.5 Personal Property

SPINCITY is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings on the premises. Customers are advised not to leave valuables unattended.

14. Commercial Use and Intellectual Property

Back to contents ↑

14.1 Personal Use

Your use of SPINCITY facilities and the Platform is for personal recreational or training purposes only, unless SPINCITY has granted written permission for commercial or professional use.

14.2 Photography and Video – Personal

Personal photography and video recording of your own gameplay and that of your guests are permitted for private, non-commercial enjoyment. You must ensure that any recording does not intrude upon other customers who have not consented to being filmed.

14.3 Commercial Use – Written Permission Required

The following activities on SPINCITY premises require prior written permission from SPINCITY management. Written permission includes approval given by e-mail from an authorised SPINCITY representative; verbal or informal communications do not constitute written permission:

  • Coaching or instructing clients for payment (paid lessons).
  • Commercial filming, photography, or content creation intended for publication, broadcast, or monetisation.
  • Organising paid group sessions, leagues, or tournaments not organised by SPINCITY.

16.2 Cap on Liability

Where SPINCITY is found liable for direct losses under or in connection with these Terms, SPINCITY’s total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific Booking(s) or Replay Credit purchase(s) giving rise to the claim, in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Back to contents ↑

18.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, with particular reference to Act V of 2013 (Hungarian Civil Code) and Act CVIII of 2001 (Hungarian E-Commerce Act), without regard to conflict of law principles.

18.2 Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights under Hungarian law or applicable EU consumer protection regulations. Where EU consumer law provides broader protection than these Terms, the more protective rules shall apply.

18.3 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith by contacting SPINCITY at info@spincity.hu. SPINCITY will respond to written complaints within 14 calendar days.

18.4 Hungarian Consumer Protection Authority

Consumers resident in Hungary may lodge a complaint with the competent consumer protection authority: Fogyasztóvédelmi Hatóság (National Consumer Protection Authority / NFH), operated through county government offices (járási hivatalok). Further information is available at fogyasztovedelem.kormany.hu.

18.6 Courts

If a dispute cannot be resolved through the mechanisms above, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Budapest, Hungary, without prejudice to your right as a consumer under applicable EU law (Regulation (EU) 1215/2012) to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence.
