Bio
Bernadett Bálint is a professional table tennis player of Transylvanian origin, who first picked up a racket at the age of 5 and turned toward competitive sports at a young age. Her talent and perseverance showed early on: as a member of the Romanian youth national team, she achieved numerous national and international successes, including several European Championship medals and a World Championship bronze.In 2015, she moved to Hungary to continue her career representing her new home country. Since then, she has been a member of the Hungarian women’s national team and currently ranks at the top of the Hungarian national rankings.
She has played in several top-tier leagues across Romania, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Greece. She is currently competing in two leagues, playing for the teams of Győr and Carei (Nagykároly). In 2024, she joined the Hungarian Defence Forces and now represents her country as a military athlete with the 2nd Sports Company.She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in coaching at the University of Physical Education, aiming to pass on the knowledge and experience she has gained in sport to future generations. From the very beginning, she has been passionately devoted to table tennis and believes in the power of sport to inspire, motivate, and convey values.

Favourite table tennis memory
In the beginning, I trained together with my father and brother, which had a significant impact on my career. A long-time dream of mine came true in 2015 when, as a Hungarian, I had the honor of wearing the national jersey as a member of the national team.
Outside of SPINCITY
Besides table tennis, my other two passions are CrossFit and road cycling. For me, the greatest way to recharge is to be in nature—hiking, relaxing, and unwinding.
